Domains & Deliverability
Every sending domain is checked automatically, every 6 hours, for:
- SPF — does the domain publish a valid SPF record, and does it actually authorize the servers your mailboxes send from (SPF alignment, checked per mailbox — publishing SPF isn’t enough if your real sending server isn’t in it).
- DKIM
- DMARC — including whether it’s just present or actually enforcing (
p=quarantine/p=reject, notp=none). - MX records
- Blacklist status across major DNSBLs (Spamhaus and others).
You can trigger an on-demand recheck at any time instead of waiting for the next scheduled pass.
Auto-pause on a real blacklist hit
If a domain is found genuinely listed on a blacklist, every mailbox on that domain is automatically paused — a blacklist hit is a domain-reputation problem, not a single-mailbox one. A DNS query that merely fails or is refused (common with some resolvers) is logged but never treated as a listing — only a real, confirmed hit triggers the pause, so a transient DNS hiccup can’t wrongly pause your whole domain.
