Inbox
Every reply across every mailbox lands in one unified inbox, grouped by conversation (lead) or viewable as a flat list.
Unread replies
A reply is unread until you open its conversation. Opening a conversation marks every reply in it as read. The Inbox menu item shows how many replies are unread, and each conversation in the list shows its own unread count.
A conversation is marked answered when you replied after their latest message. The list also shows who wrote the latest message (the lead, or a colleague answering for them).
Intent classification
Replies are automatically classified: Interested, Not Interested, Out of Office, Wrong Person, Unsubscribe Request, Question, or Unclassified. Filter the inbox by intent to build a worklist — e.g. every Interested reply that needs a follow-up.
Out of Office means an automatic reply. A reply counts as Out of Office when the sending system
marks it as automatic (Auto-Submitted, X-Autoreply, Precedence: auto_reply, or a subject like
“Automatic reply:” or “Out of Office”), or when its text has an unmistakable out-of-office phrase
(“out of the office”, “on leave until …”). A reply a person wrote (“I’ll get back to you Monday”,
“Not interested, I’m on vacation”) is not counted as Out of Office.
Full conversation view
Open a lead’s thread to see the complete back-and-forth — every outbound email Sendbox actually sent them, reconstructed from the real template and their real data, interleaved with every reply they sent back, in order.
- Every message shows From, To and Cc. Your own replies also show Bcc.
- HTML emails are shown as they were written, with working links.
- Quoted history inside a message is folded behind •••. Click it to expand.
- Earlier messages are folded to one line. The latest reply is open.
Attachments
Files attached to a reply are kept and listed under the message. Click one to download it. Up to 15 MB per file and 25 MB per message are kept. Small images inside a signature are skipped.
Answers written in Gmail or Outlook
If you answer a lead directly from your mail client instead of from Sendbox, the answer still shows in the conversation. Sendbox reads the mailbox’s Sent folder and picks up messages that answer a lead’s reply. This works for mailboxes connected with IMAP. The reply it answers is then marked as answered.
Replying
- Reply or Reply all from the mailbox that received the message.
- Forward the original message to another address, with an optional note.
- Star a conversation, or set a follow-up reminder for a specific date/time.
Recipients
To, Cc and Bcc are editable on every reply. By default, To is whoever wrote the message you are answering. That is the lead, or a colleague of the lead who answered for them. Reply all also adds everyone else on that message to Cc. Each field takes up to 20 addresses.
Formatting
Replies are written in a rich editor: bold, italic, underline, links, lists and images. A reply with no formatting is sent as plain text.
Attaching files
Attach up to 10 files to a reply, 20 MB in all. For larger files, send a link instead.
AI-drafted replies
Click Draft with AI to generate a suggested response, grounded in the campaign’s configured reply agent (its tone, company info, and knowledge base).
AI drafting never sends automatically. It returns a draft for you to review, edit, and send yourself — nothing goes out from your mailbox without you clicking Send. Drafting consumes one AI credit per call (see your plan’s included credits).
