Leads
Leads are your contact database, separate from any one campaign — the same lead can be reused across multiple campaigns.
Fields
Every lead has: email (required), first/last name, company domain, company name, job title, phone
number, timezone, and any custom fields you define. Custom fields and every standard field can be
used as a {{token}} in your sequence step templates (e.g. {{firstName}}, {{companyDomain}}). The full
list, including the mailbox’s {{senderName}} and {{signature}}, is under
Campaigns → Template variables.
Adding leads
- One at a time — the “Add lead” form.
- Paste/CSV import — bulk-add up to 1,000 leads per request. Re-importing an email that already exists updates that lead instead of creating a duplicate.
- Via the API or MCP — see API Reference or MCP.
An email that’s already on your suppression list is skipped automatically when it would be added to a campaign — it still exists as a lead, it just never gets sent to.
Verification & ESP detection
Leads are checked for basic validity (format, MX records, disposable-domain detection) and, where determinable, which email service provider they use (Google, Microsoft, or other) — both surface as columns you can filter by.
Tags
Attach tags to leads for organization, or to drive campaign mailbox selection by tag.
Bulk actions
Select multiple leads to bulk-delete or bulk-tag. Deleting a lead is permanent and removes it from every campaign it was part of.
- Only an owner or admin can bulk-delete leads or export every lead as CSV.
- A lead that was emailed or replied can be deleted. Its replies are deleted with it. The emails sent to it are kept, so mailbox daily limits, plan quota and bounce health stay right.
- To delete a campaign together with its leads, see Deleting a campaign.
