FAQ
Do I get my own dedicated sending infrastructure?
Yes — your own IPs and mailboxes on every plan, not a shared pool with other Sendbox customers.
How long should I warm up a mailbox before sending real campaigns?
There’s no universal number — it depends on the mailbox’s age and history — but sending real cold volume from an unwarmed mailbox on day one is the most common cause of landing in spam. Start warmup as soon as you connect a mailbox and let it reach Steady State (or explicitly enable Sending Enabled) before assigning it real campaign leads. See Mailboxes & Warmup.
Can I connect Gmail/Outlook without an app password?
Yes — OAuth is supported for both, no app password required.
What happens if a domain gets blacklisted?
Every mailbox on that domain is paused automatically. A DNS query that merely fails or times out is never treated as a listing on its own — only a real, confirmed hit triggers the pause.
Does the AI ever send email on its own?
No. AI drafting (in the Inbox or via
MCP’s draft_reply) always returns a draft for a human to review and send. Nothing
leaves your mailbox without an explicit send action.
Can I let an LLM operate my workspace directly?
Yes — see MCP (AI Access). It uses the same API key mechanism as any other integration, and can’t touch billing, team, or workspace settings even if asked to.
Where do I get an API key?
Settings → API Keys in the dashboard. It’s shown in full exactly once, at creation.
Something’s wrong / I found a bug — how do I reach support?
Open Help & support in the app’s sidebar and send a request. It carries your workspace’s current state (mailbox problems, last sync and send), and the answer appears on the same page. Be specific: what you clicked, what you expected, what happened instead. See Help & Support.
